Tradition

From plantation to pack

Yerba mate, the Paraguay holly (Ilex paraguariensis), grows in the subtropical forests of South America. For centuries the Guarani people picked and dried its leaves to make an infusion.

Soul Mate comes from Brazil. The photos show the stages: the plantation, young plants, leaf processing and the warehouse.
